Dynamic Illustration

I am looking for a piece of software which can take values form a spreadsheet and plot them as a drawing.
For example, let say i want to give values to the size of a circle. Value 1 in the spreadsheet will draw a small circle and and value 5 in the spreadsheet will draw a large circle.
Do date i am manually plotting the values in adobe illustrator. But i am looking for a program or code which will give me freedom to draw with the values in a spreadsheet. ie making the diagram dynamic.
